Life Groups
“Jesus paid much too high a price for us to pick and choose who should come. We are the body of Christ.”
– Casting Crowns.
At First Baptist Church we want everyone to feel like they have a place to belong, a place to establish relationships, connect with others and share their life through the joyous times, the unbearable times and all the times in between.
A life group can be a bible study, a service ministry, a prayer group or have a common interest like health and fitness, or a common ministry such as music. First Baptist Church has many different life groups available to join. Men, women, children, youth, young adults, young couples and groups that share common interests and always welcome new members.

Spiritual Partenting
Are your kids asking questions about God and your not sure how to answer? When you hear people say you are the Spiritual Leader in your home do you wonder ‘How in the world am I going to do that?’
This FALL we are offering a guide to help parents with some of those questions and more. It’s called SPIRITUAL PARENTING and it is NOT a time to focus on what we aren’t doing, or how high can we raise the ‘Parenting bar’ that we can’t measure up too no matter how hard we try. It’s ALL about being on a parenting journey together to encourage one another to put God as the center of our families and find ways to share His love and divinity with our kids.
The Idea:
We’ll meet Sunday evenings as families. Kids will go with paid child care providers and have fun. Parents will gather together, watch a short DVD series and discuss topics together. After an hour, Parents and Kids will gather back together for a ‘Family Activity’ that we will guide you thru. Then we’ll wrap up and be off until the next week.
STARTS: Sunday Sept. 25th, 2011 6:00—7:30pm (Schedule will rotate with two weeks on and one week off)
Cost: $15 per family (includes workbook and copy of Spiritual Parenting book) plus $2 a week per child for childcare
RSVP: by Sept. 23rd to
Pastor Kimi at kimio@firstbaptistpg.com or by calling the church office at 250.564.4522
